Could you explain you think it’s a bull steepener right now when bonds are dropping wouldn’t it be a bear steepener??

steepener because the spread is rising and bull because yields are falling-i.e bonds up

Yields have been rising and bonds have been falling for literally the last 2.5 years

In the last couple of trading sessions overall yields have been falling (bonds up), but short-term yields are dropping faster than long-term yields, so the curve is steepening
