This is great- qq- do you have any idea where I could find data for regional REIT performance? I.e. performance of reits in specific parts of the country? Wondering if it would be possible to compare and contrast different regions. Thanks for the writeup!
Yeah so very tough in general. There would be several ways: first is breaking down holdings of all publically traded reits. Second would be reviewing all private reits which is more difficult. I think bluevault has a quarterly or yearly report they do on that. And third is costar but that does cost money.
